I say not. Time makes wounds worse. Only God can heal wounds. And sometimes He sees fit to leave the wounds. They're for our best. They sure do hurt, though.
You're absolutely right, time does NOT heal wounds. They always cut just as deeply, if not even more so. But I can say from experience that as time drags on, you get used to the way things are and the pain changes. It always hurts, but doesn't feel as harsh as it initially did.
I hope everything's going okay for you, and you haven't gone through this yourself.
