Nikki's Challenge-Week Eight

Weel, I am actually getting around to posting at the end of this week instead of the beginning of next week.

This week a family from our old church came and spent three nights with us. We had a good, albeit short, visit. I don't think anyone got the camera out while they were here, though. Blogger is going slow today so I'm only putting one picture up today. Enjoy.

Nikki's Challenge-Week Seven

This past week I simply enjoyed my summer, mostly by riding around on the golf cart (or rather driving :). I did finally get pictures of our room. Enjoy.

Nikki's Challenge-Week Six

This past week has been kinda busy. We cleaned the garage out, finished redecorating our room (pictures to come eventually), and I mowed our yard for the first time. :)

I don't have any relevant photos to post, so I'll just pick some for y'all. :) Enjoy.

Nikki's Challenge-Week Five

Weel, last week I didn't finish any projects or anything but I did do something that's more important than completing a project. My grandparents on my mom's side and my great-grandma came for most of the week. We played games, ran around town, and just visited. The week went by very fast. I'm still not quite sure where all the time went.

For those of you who like pictures, we only got a couple while our family was here and they're not on the computer. So I'll put a few other pictures on here.

Memories

Today the four generations of girls went shopping. Our first stop was the thrift store up the road. After browsing the clothes racks and finding two pairs of plaid shorts, I decided to go look at the games since they were half off. Spotting one, I picked it up. I was happy to find that it was only fifty cents. The game was one I fondly remembered from my early childhood years: Hungry Hungry Hippos. :) It brought back such fun memories of sitting around playing it with friends and family, all trying to get our hippos to eat the most. When we got home from our outing, my brother and sister and mom all got down on the floor with me and played. My mom and sister dropped out after a couple of games, but my brother played a lot of rounds with me. It was so fun; doing something I used to love doing that I haven't done in forever. Did any of you play that game when you were younger?

Btw, if you haven't ever heard Steven Curtis Chapman's song Cinderella, check it out. It's good.
