Weel, I didn't really finish any projects this week. I did get a lot of schoolwork done, though. :)
Tomorrow my grandparents and great-grandma are coming to visit. I'm excited!
We still have a variety of animals that visit our back porch plus our indoor zoo.
That's all for now. Enjoy the evening.

Nikki's Challenge-Week Three & Various
Weel, this week was busy. I know I normally post on Mondays, but my project wasn't done until last night, and I didn't have time to post about it before bed. :) Anyways, my project for this week was to make five graduation slideshows. It was rather fun, but kinda hectic. We were supposed to get to the church an hour before the program started so that we could make sure everything worked, but we ended up getting there right before it started. 8| The slideshows worked very well thanks to the amazing techies in the sound booth. :)
As for life, it's been pretty busy. My sister is helping me rearrange our room. I like how it's turning out. I started Chemistry last week. Not fun. I'm still playing my violin. I'm really enjoying it. Not much else going on around here.

Quilt Pictures
Okay, I finally got the pictures off the camera. And in the process of doing so, I made a very interesting discovery. No one had downloaded the pictures from the camera since the end of January! That's a long time. Hopefully I'll get some of them up here soon. :)
This one is of all the squares before they were assembled. The top two piles had already been cut out a long time ago.
This is of the not-quite-complete quilt top laying on our floor. The picture was taken with the camera zoomed all the way out and up against the ceiling.
The reason the last picture was of it not quite complete is because I thought of a way to get the corners to go from looking like this:
To looking like this:
I figured that if I was going to spend all this time on a quilt, I could take the extra 45 min - 1 hour to get the corners perfect. :)
Well, I've got to run. We're off to JoAnn's; MissJo is helping me redecorate the room and we have to get fabric for a chair we're recovering. :) Pictures coming sometime after it's complete. :)

Nikki's Challenge-Week Two
Hmmmm...Blogger likes having problems. I had typed out my whole long post, but when I hit 'publish post' it told me it couldn't perform the action, and I couldnt' get back to my post. :(
Anyways, my accomplishment for week two was to cut out fabric squares and piece together the top of a twin sized banket. :)
Well, this week is going into super busy mode. So if I don't post for a while, please understand. I'll try to get some pictures of the blanket top posted, but I'm not promising them any time soon. We'll see.

Flower Photograph Contest
Johanna at An Old Fashioned Girl is hosting a photography contest. Since I love taking pictures and have several of flowers that I really like, I figured I'd enter some. The limit is five, so here they are.

Okay
I just realized it's been a little while since I've posted any pictures, so here's one that might make you laugh. :)
I never was the kid that made faces at the camera. If the picture was supposed to be a silly face picture, I was always the odd one out. I just didn't make faces at the camera. So when I came across this picture, I couldn't help but laughing. I have no idea where this came from. It's so not me. Enjoy it anyways, for it's a once-in-a-lifetime shot.

Nikki's Challenge-Week One
My dear friend Nikki is having a challenge to encourage others to get stuff done over the summer.
So, for week one. :)
This past Saturday I spoke at our church's Mother/Daughter Brunch. We did a relay-style talk, so I wasn't the only one speaking (Mom and Jo spoke also), but to get up there and talk to half a sanctuary full of women was kinda, well, wow. :) It didn't really help me that they had everyone sit on the same side of the sanctuary, so it made it look a lot more full. 8| It went pretty well, except for the fact that on my funniest picture, I didn't quite hit the button to move the slides, so no one was laughing when I thought they would. Two pictures later, I realized my mistake. Oooops. :) But I survived. And it's actually not that bad. :)
Well, I'm off to work on other projects. I went through my sewing box a little while ago and found lots of projects that need to be finished. I really should get those done. The sad thing is that I was in my sewing box looking for material to start a new project. Guess that will have to wait. Shouldn't take me too long to finish the other projects though. Just a hem on a dress, rotary cutting some squares, sewing four seams and inserting elastic, etc. So, that will probably be my accomplishment for this week. :)

I'm Still Here
I'm still alive and well. :) I've just been really busy. Last weekend was the state homeschool convention. Now I'm trying to get school all caught up and figured out for next year. We found a chemistry book at the UBS for $1 because the previous owner had doodled in it. So Mom said since it had already been doodled in, she didn't care if I doodled in it. :) I've already done some doodling of my own. :) This is the first school book of mine that I've been allowed to doodle in. It's rather fun. :) On the school note, Dad got some programming books at the convention and I'll be doing those next year!
Okay, I never posted the answer to this question, but I'm finally getting around to it. :)
Two numbers, both under 1000, are only one number apart. The lowest common multiple of the two numbers is 996003 more than the higher number. What are the two numbers?
And the answer is:
998 and 999
